From the Principal's Desk

As you may have noticed, we have been utilizing a new Gator Bites format for the past couple of weeks. We are working to take our communication to even higher levels. To know you are on the latest Gator Bites message, note the date at the top right hand side of the page. If you click on the “Home” tab at the top right hand side of the page, you may access older versions of Gator Bites, and/or helpful hyperlinks. Finally, note the PTA tab at the top right hand corner of Gator Bites where you may find a plethora of PTA information.

We are struggling to get our carpool staff and student volunteers in the building at 7:55 a.m. as we have a lot of cars entering our school campus after 7:50. We have a lull in carpool traffic typically between 7:40 and 7:50. Please consider helping our carpool run more efficiently by aiming to arrive on campus by 7:40 a.m.

Relatedly, if you are parking in our parking lot because you need to drop off a pre-k child and/or you are volunteering first thing in the morning, please do not cross through the carpool line on the raised sidewalk. Instead, go the other direction (toward Andrews Store Road) and follow the sidewalk into the walker area and/or front office. Taking this step will allow the carpool line to flow more easily.
