A customer persona is a way of understanding the typical customer from your target market.
You can create a customer persona by completing customer interviews and choosing a typical customer from those you interviewed.
Customer personas provide a good way to maintain your focus on the needs of your customer - by imagining yourself in their shoes.
In our case, we are imagining what the typical customer is like, which we will then verify with interviews.
