General Membership meetings occur twice a year; once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Currently the schedule is the morning of the first Saturday in October and the evening of the first Thursday first Saturday of April.
We are supplying as much notice as possible for these meetings since we'd love to see our membership more active and we need a quorum for votes.
If you know you cannot attend, we have established methods for you assign another member as your proxy for the meeting and adjournments of the meeting. One or more adjournment meetings are necessary to establish a quorum when an insufficient number of votes were present to have a vote.

We are in search of a location for our next meeting, Saturday November 18th from 9AM-11AM at Shaka Taco.
If you have completed a 2023 Fall General Meeting proxy, it will still be good for the adjournment. If you attend, your in-person vote has precedence. If you wish to change your designated proxy you just need to complete a new one and get it to us before the meeting date.

The next meeting is on Saturday, October 7th, from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at Shaka Taco on Counrty Club Drive near the Ironclad Golf & Beer Garden. This is a very important owners meeting needing a quorum since we want to vote on the 2024 Budget Proposed.
We want to thank Shaka Taco for the warm welcome, including donuts and coffee, as well as everyone who attended the meeting and those who submitted proxies. Unfortunately we did not have a quorum but we were much closer than previous meetings from the first scheduled fall meeting on October 7th.
The meeting was held on Thursday, April 6th, 2023, at the Hampstead Women's Club from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Previously our bylaws required 4 scheduled general membership meetings per year.

The BPOA Board usually meets during the week preceding each general membership meeting. Residents with concerns or issues of interest to the community may offer them at that time for consideration for inclusion in the agenda. Suggestions should be sent to Joyce Owens at president8.bpoa@gmail.com or 910 319-0360. Or, of course, they may be brought to the general membership meeting as ‘new business.’
