Sections I and II of the Belvedere Plantation are on septic. Properties must pass a perk test and install a septic system.
Natural gas is only available along Country Club Drive at this time.
LP Gas delivery is serviced by many companies in the area.
An owner can use Pender County services or hire an authorized area service provider to dispose of trash. The Pender County transfer station is located nearby on Transfer Station road. Users must acquire a tag and display it on their vehicle.
State law prohibits the disposal of yard waste and vegetative debris in sanitary landfills. Alternative Disposal Options: backyard composting, controlled burning, or contract with a private hauler.
Once a day under 200 pounds - small quantities of construction debris such as roofing material, wood, wood pallets (must be broken down), sheetrock, and other similar materials may be disposed of at the Rocky Point, Burgaw, and Willard Convenience Centers. Large loads, in excess of 200 pounds, must be taken to the Hampstead Transfer Station (250 Transfer Station Road) and will be charged the current per-ton rate. This service is for individuals only.
Contractors with large quantities of debris can make disposal arrangements with the Sampson County Landfill at 910-525-4132.
Couches, mattresses, box springs, and similar items under 200 pounds. once a day may be brought to the Convenience Centers at Rocky Point, Burgaw, Willard, or the Transfer Station for disposal. These items should be placed in the Construction and Demolition debris (C&D) containers.

Pender Solid Waste has established a permanent "Electronics" collection site at the Rocky Point Convenience Site, Burgaw Convenience Site, Willard Convenience Site, and Hampstead Convenience Site. Refer to the locations map and hours of operation located elsewhere on this web page.
What can be recycled: Computers - CPUs and mainframes, Monitors - CRTs and flat screens, Telephones, Cell phones and Telephone systems, Fax Machines and Office Equipment, Printers and Copiers, Televisions, Rechargeable batteries, Electronic Circuit boards and components, Stereo Equipment, Games, PDA's.
What must be disposed of: Laptops, hard drives, and Towers.
Note: Always be sure to display your solid waste sticker or you will not be permitted to use the facility. Solid waste stickers are only issued to Pender County residents living in the unincorporated areas of the county. County residents who live in the incorporated areas of the county must use their respective municipal solid waste services for proper waste disposal.
