Promote BPOA goals to maintain sense of community, quality of life, and property values
Welcome Committee for new residents

Represent the BPOA to your neighbors to keep them informed
Promote BPOA services: community events, maintaining common areas, resident internet portal, dog bag stations, trash pick-ups, covenant enforcement
Advise BPOA of new and departing residents
Advise BPOA of resident issues and complaints
Help BPOA Treasurer validate mailing addresses of owners, especially for rented houses
Send cards upon illness, death, or other major events
Talk up semi-annual resident meetings and special community events
Recruit volunteers for BPOA functions, events, and especially for more block captains to take over your block if you are already a BPOA officer or break down larger blocks into more manageable size blocks
The BPOA properties are divided into 43 blocks. The objective is 10 to 12 properties per block.
There are 11 section leads with each section having 4 blocks.
The block captain program has been part of the BPOA since it's inception so it is not a new initiative. However, it has fallen by the wayside so the board has determined to relaunch and energize the program.
Christian Klinefelter, BPOA Vice President, and Christan Miller, Welcome Committee Chair, are leading this effort.
