Piedmont natural gas is looking to bring natural gas to our neighborhood. Whether or not you are interested in converting to natural gas, please fill out their attached survey and send to kate.klein@duke-energy.com and Kate Klein will be in touch with you within a few days of receiving it if you indicate an interest. Please put your name and address in the subject line when emailing the survey to Kate. This survey is not a contract; it is simply to gauge interest. If you have questions or would like more information, feel free to call or email Kate. Her email address is Kate.Klein@duke-energy.com and her cell phone is 910-274-9001. Our neighborhood has to indicate enough interest before Piedmont Natural Gas will conduct a feasibility study to determine that it is cost effective for them to run the gas lines to those groups of homes indicating an interest. The whole process can take 12 to 24 months AFTER we have established at least a 25% level of interest per block of homes emanating from Country Club. The homes west of Country Club require an additional permitting and construction effort to punch a main supply line under Country Club which will add another 6-8 months to the process. Kate will provide the BPOA quarterly updates on our progress and project timeline projections.
This map shows blocks as polygons along with the block number only. It is planned to include the Block Captain information. The blue line is the raised platform and paved walkway to Kiwanis park. The green blocks are the golf course holes.
This map shows specific lots with pins showing public information about the property including registered owner, purchase date, BPOA Block, BPOA Block Section, Lot #, Owner and Member ID. There are two issues planned to be resolved:
It does not currently show lots which do not have a street number but is being developed.
The colors are limited so each color is associated with 3 or 4 blocks. We are planning to correct that so each block is separated.
This map currently shows the Belvedere Plantation Sections. The next improvements are planned as follows:
add the associated HOA information updated and
color coding of all known HOAs.

A block captain is a member volunteer, who helps improve collaboration between you (the member) and the BPOA officers and other volunteers. In the BPOA, a block captain is intended to contact between a handful or two of members to help build community. The hope is that the good neighbor is there to help others learn about and enjoy our community. Belvedere Plantation has a lot to offer and we hope to help everyone enjoy it more with friendly, helpful neighbors helping us build a strong community.
If you are registered member with a non-Google account please use this form. You must use the same email address you previously used.
You can download the form here, print it, enter the information then USPS mail it to BPOA, PO Box 865, Hampstead, NC, 28443 or deliver it to your block captain, Welcome Committee Chair or a Board Member.
We need to establish a quorum for membership meetings. We understand everyone has a busy life so we're implementing the proxy vote solution for you. Whether you plan to attend or not, you should complete a proxy. Your vote always takes precedence over a proxy you have provided for another.
A proxy is only valid for a specified meeting and its adjournments. When we do not have a quorum, we must adjourn when we have items requiring a vote.
The next General Members meeting, is October 7, 2023. In the near future, you will be able to create a proxy online but for now you can download the document here, complete it then upload it here or
This is new but we will place it on every communication we have with you. The September Newsletter is the first use. After this, invoices and formal communications will have it on them. As a Google account registered member, we plan to have it available on your profile page. Non-google registered members can receive it upon request.
