🕣 Scheduled Rides – Myth Busted! 🚗💨
Myth:
“You have to be online a whole hour before a scheduled ride, or you’ll lose it.” 😩
Truth:
You only have to be online 30 minutes before your scheduled pickup to keep your trip.
And here’s the best part, you can still get on-demand rides right up until your scheduled ride, as long as the ETA doesn’t push past your pickup time.
So, less waiting around and more earning! 💸🙌
📍 Multiple Stops
Many drivers have told us that they aren’t sure how a passenger is able to add an additional destination using the Bolt app, so we’ve put together a quick guide to show how this can be done so you can show a passenger how to do so if you are asked.
Step 1) On the passenger's app, swipe up on the ride details and click "Add Stop"
Step 2) Type in the new destination. Hold and drag the six circles next to the destinations to move the order around
Step 3) Press "Confirm Route" on the passenger's app.
You will receive a notification on your Bolt Driver App once a stop has been added.
🪧 Changes to pick-up points
Manchester
Following driver feedback, we have removed the pick-up point for Co-Op Live from Forge Ln and added a new pick-up point on Gibbon St.
📄 Wolverhampton council licence extensions
We now accept Wolverhampton Council licence extensions based on the online register for all existing drivers! This means you simply need to have a valid licence on the online register to get your profile reactivated. We will still need physical proof of all other documentation.

⚖️ Compliance reminders for all drivers
You must at all times continue to follow your licence conditions set out in your Private Hire Driver and Vehicle conditions from your licensing authority.
Bolt is committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible service for all passengers. As part of your legal obligations, please remember that assistance animals must be accepted in your vehicle.
Please ensure you display your vehicle plate correctly at all times.
If your council mandates vehicle signage, please make sure it is clearly displayed on your vehicle in accordance with your licence conditions.
