๐ย Make the most of Scheduled Rides:
Many driver partners are already using Scheduled Rides to make the most of their time on the platform.
With Scheduled Rides, you can:
Accept trips up to 7 days in advance
Enjoy more control over your time
Keep track of upcoming trips and plan around them
In case you missed it, here's how it works:
๐ธMore time for tips, here's what's changed
Just a reminder that the tipping window has been extended from 15 minutes to 2 hours after a trip ends, following feedback you shared through support calls, Bolt on the Move events, and surveys.
This means passengers have more time to leave a tip at a time that's convenient for them, giving you a greater opportunity to be recognised for the service you provide.
Thank you for your continued feedback; it's what drives improvements like this one.
โฝ Busy periods ahead: Major events in June
June is expected to bring higher demand across London, with major sporting events and concerts taking place throughout the month.
Englandโs World Cup fixtures are likely to create especially high demand before and after kick-off, particularly around pubs, fan zones, stations, and busy nightlife areas.
๐
England fixtures:
Wednesday 17 June โ England vs Croatia (Kick-off 9pm)
Tuesday 23 June โ England vs Ghana (Kick-off 9pm)
Saturday 27 June โ Panama vs England (Kick-off 10pm)
Areas including Soho, Shoreditch, Clapham, Camden, and Canary Wharf may be especially busy on matchdays.
๐ต BST Hyde Park also returns in late June, with large crowds expected across concert weekends.
You may see increased demand around:
โ
Hyde Park
โ
Marble Arch
โ
Paddington
โ
Victoria
โ
Mayfair
Please allow extra time for congestion, road closures, and busy pick-up areas during these events.
Your safety on the road ๐
At Bolt, keeping driver partners safe is a priority. Here's a quick reminder of the safety features available to you on the platform:
๐ Hidden number โ your personal phone number stays private on every call made through the app.
๐ Trip sharing โ share your real-time location with friends or family during a ride, so someone always knows where you are.
๐ค Passenger transparency โ see passenger information before arrival, including ride history and rating.
๐ Emergency Assist โ discreetly alert emergency services with a single tap of the in-app SOS button.
Driver partner Pardeep from Birmingham knows first-hand how valuable these features can be: "SOS is underrated โ it feels like a premium, high quality security benefit. You know your location is tracked and the police are directly connected to you."
