Welcome to the Bolt Driver Newsletter! Every month we will update you with the latest news, developments and changes to help you earn more, stay safe, and make the most out of your Bolt Driver App. This month’s focus will be on Sheffield.
🏎️ Bolt: On the move
Bolt: On the move roadshows continued this month, with sessions in Bristol, Nottingham, Leicester, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Newcastle. We had the chance to meet with drivers and get your thoughts and feedback on what we can do to improve your experience with Bolt.
Here’s a look at some of things we're working on:
Improving earnings for long distance trips
Removal of in-app pop-ups for confirming pricing
Improving driver airport experience
Over the next few months we will be educating passengers about:
Ordering a ride for under 18s
Vaping in vehicles
Ordering rides to unsafe and prohibited locations such as bus lanes, roundabouts and restricted areas.
We will also allow drivers to notify Bolt about unsafe pickup locations
We’ve had many suggestions across all the events so far and we're already working with our teams to implement them.
We do take this feedback seriously and we will keep you updated with changes through this newsletter, emails and the Bolt: On the move website which can be found here
We still have more events planned for November, so if you drive in Derby, Cambridge, Southampton, Portsmouth or Cardiff, we’ll see you soon!

🕵🏻♂️ Lost-and-found guide for Sheffield
If you are licensed in Sheffield and cannot return the lost property to your passenger, please report the issue and drop the item off at your nearest police Station within 24 hours.
🚧 Major road closures and events
Across the UK there will be a large number of firework events between Friday - Sunday, as a result we expect roads to be much busier during the evening hours.
There remains ongoing road works on the M1 between junctions 33 - 34 until the end of November, this will result in nightly lane closures throughout the month.

Please ensure that you display your private hire badge at all times as per your licensing authority's requirements.
You must at all times continue to follow your licence conditions set out in your Private Hire Driver and Vehicle conditions from your licensing authority.
Please ensure signage is clearly and correctly displayed on your vehicle, as set out in your licence conditions.
