The New Plant feature allows users to create new plants within the Cultivation tab. Each new plant must originate from an existing source inventory item, such as a Mature Plant, Clone, Seed, or Plant Tissue.
Always confirm you are in the correct licensed location before creating plants.
Ensure the source inventory is valid and in stock.
Label and organize new plants immediately to prevent mix-ups.
Use the Mother Plant option only when designating genetic source plants for future clones or seeds.
Navigate to the Cultivation tab.
In the top-right shortcuts menu, click New Plant.
The New Plant window will open.
Select Source
Click Source to open the list of available inventory items.
Only the following inventory types will appear:
Mature Plant
Clone
Seed
Plant Tissue
Select the desired source item from the list.
Enter Quantity
Enter the number of plants you want to create.
The quantity cannot exceed the remaining amount available in the selected source inventory item.
Set Birthday
The Birthday field defaults to the current date.
Modify this date if the plants were started earlier or need to reflect a specific propagation date.
Assign Room
Select the Cultivation Room where these new plants will be located.
Rooms must be created prior to this step (see Tutorial 5: Rooms).
Optional Settings
Mother Plant: Check this box if the plants being created should be designated as mother plants.
Print Barcode: Check this box to automatically print plant tags for each new plant upon creation.
Finalize Creation
Review all details for accuracy.
Click Create to generate the new plants.
The source inventory item will have its available quantity automatically reduced based on the number of plants created.
