The QA Testing function allows users to create and manage compliance test samples to ensure products meet all regulatory safety and quality standards before being sold, transferred, or processed further.
Verify quantity and lab selection before submitting a sample.
Avoid creating multiple QA samples for the same batch or lot.
Keep complete records of QA sample creation, voids, manifests, and results for compliance tracking.
Remember: Once a QA sample has been transferred and received by a lab, it cannot be voided or modified.
When a QA sample is created from any room other than the Bulk Inventory room, the new QA sample is automatically moved to the Bulk Inventory room.
To send the sample to the QA lab, you must create a Transport Manifest.
Refer to Tutorial 23: Manifests and Transfers for detailed steps.
Navigate to Inventory → Current Inventory.
Locate the inventory item you want to test.
Click the arrow icon next to the item to expand additional options.
Select QA Testing.
The QA Test window will open.
Enter the Quantity of material you are sending for testing.
Select the QA Laboratory from the drop-down list of licensed labs.
Click Create to create the QA sample.
If a QA sample is created by mistake, it can be voided as long as it has not yet been manifested or transferred.
Navigate to Inventory → Quality Assurance.
Adjust the Start Date and End Date filters to include the approximate date the sample was created.
Locate the sample in the list.
Click Void to cancel the QA sample.
If the sample has already been manifested or transferred but has not been received by the lab:
Void the manifest or transfer (see Tutorial 23: Manifests and Transfers for details).
Return to Inventory → Quality Assurance and void the QA sample.
Once the QA lab completes testing, results can be viewed in the system:
Go to Inventory → Quality Assurance.
Locate the sample that has completed testing.
Scroll to the right and click on "View QA Results"
Items that have passed testing will display their results and status directly within this screen.
To access the Lab Interface navigate to https://trace.uat.AR.biotr.ac/ and click on QA Login on the top left corner. Credentials can be found in the AR 2.0 UAT Testing Script
Licensed laboratories have a separate interface for managing received samples and entering test results.
From the main login screen, click the QA Login button to access the Lab Interface.
The interface includes two search fields:
UBI or License Search — Displays all samples submitted by a specific licensee.
Lot or Sample ID Search — Locates a single specific sample.
When multiple samples are sent from the same licensee, it is recommended to use the UBI or License Search to view all pending samples at once.
Once you locate the correct sample(s), click Receive Sample to mark them as received in the lab.
The status will update automatically on both the lab and licensee’s systems.
After receiving the sample.
Search for the samples again
Click on Add Results enter all required test results into the system.
If an error is discovered after submitting results:
Navigate to Modify Previous Results.
Locate the sample.
Click Modify Results to correct the data.
Any updates made by the lab will automatically populate on the licensee’s QA interface.
