Mother plants act as the genetic source for creating new items such as Clones, Seeds, and Plant Tissue. Properly designating and managing mother plants ensures genetic consistency and healthy propagation throughout the cultivation process.
Keep mother plants healthy and well-documented since their genetics directly influence all derived clones and plants.
Avoid overusing a single mother plant; rotate and replace as needed to maintain vigor.
Regularly review and clean up unused or retired mother plants to ensure accurate records.
Navigate to the Cultivation tab.
Enter the Room where the plant you want to designate as a mother is located.
Locate the desired plant/s in the list.
Click the arrow icon next to the plant to expand its options.
Select Details to open the Plant Details window.
Locate the Mother Plant toggle option.
Turn the Mother Plant toggle ON to designate the plant as a Mother Plant.
Click Save.
💡 Tip: You can toggle this option OFF at any time to remove the mother plant designation.
