Purpose:

The Rooms section allows you to create and organize the physical areas within your facility where plants or inventory are stored or processed. Proper room management helps maintain compliance and supports accurate tracking throughout the cultivation and production workflow.

Best Practices

Use clear, consistent naming conventions for both room types (e.g., Veg 1, Flower Room A, Vault 1, Packaging).
Remember that Inventory Rooms and Cultivation Rooms are managed separately.
Periodically review and update both room lists to ensure they reflect your facility’s layout.
Always confirm that a room is empty before attempting to delete it.

Inventory Rooms

Purpose:
Inventory Rooms are used to organize and track packaged products, materials, and finished goods.

Create an Inventory Room

From the main menu, go to: Shortcuts → Rooms (bottom-left).
The Inventory Rooms window opens.
Enter the Room Name exactly as you want it to appear in menus and reports.
Click Save.
The new room will appear in the Inventory Rooms list and can be assigned to inventory items.

Modify an Inventory Room

Select the room from the list, update the Room Name, then click Save.

Delete an Inventory Room

Select the room and click Delete.
The system will check automatically that no inventory items are assigned to the room. If any items exist, you must move/reassign them before deletion is allowed.

Cultivation Rooms

Purpose:
Cultivation Rooms are used to manage live plants and represent grow spaces (veg, flower, drying, etc.).

Create a Cultivation Room

Click Cultivation to open the Cultivation tab.
Inside Cultivation, go to: Shortcuts → Rooms (top-right).
Enter the Room Name as it should appear in cultivation menus and plant records.
Click Save.
The new room will appear in the Cultivation Rooms list and can be assigned to plants.

Modify a Cultivation Room

Select the room, update the Room Name, then click Save.

Delete a Cultivation Room

Select the room and click Delete.
The system will verify there are no plants, batches, or items assigned to that room. If any exist, reassign or move them before deletion is permitted.
