The Convert Inventory function allows users to transform inventory from one type to another based on state-specific rules. Common conversions include turning harvest/cure material into lot products, intermediates, or end products. This ensures accurate tracking and compliance throughout the production process.

Only inventory items within the current room are eligible for conversion.
Ensure the items selected are eligible for the target inventory type according to state regulations.
Maintain accurate records of the original items and the new converted items for compliance and traceability.
For converting harvest material specifically into lot products, see Tutorial 21: Create Lot.
Accessing Convert Inventory

Navigate to Inventory → Current Inventory.
Ensure you are in the room containing the inventory items you want to convert.
Click Convert button at the bottom of the screen.
The Inventory Convert Assistance window will open.
Converting Inventory
Converting Inventory
In the window, select the category you want to convert to:
Lot Products
Intermediate Products
End Products
The system will display all eligible inventory items within the current room that can be used for conversion based on the selected category.
Select the items you want to use for the conversion.
Click Proceed.
Enter the amount to deduct from the selected items.
Enter the total weight or units produced for the new inventory item.
Enter Waste (optional)
Click Convert to generate the new item.
