The Create Lot function allows users to convert harvested material (such as flower or other material) into lot products. Lot creation is an essential step in the production workflow, preparing inventory for further processing or sale.

Only harvest material in the current room is eligible for lot creation.
Double-check strain consistency before creating lots to prevent unintended mixed-strain labeling.
Record all actions for compliance and traceability.
After creating lots, these items can be used for conversion into intermediates or end products (see Tutorial 20: Convert Inventory).
Accessing Create Lot

Navigate to Inventory → Current Inventory.
Ensure you are in the room where the harvest material is stored.
Click Create Lot.
The Inventory Convert Assistance window will open, displaying all eligible harvest material in the current room.
Creating a Lot

Select the harvest material items you want to convert into a lot.
⚠️ Important: Ensure all selected items are of the same strain. Mixing strains will result in the new lot being assigned a mixed strain.
Enter the amount to deduct from each selected item.
Click Convert.
The system will generate a new lot product inventory item in the Current Inventory view.
