Professional Development
Campus has plenty of amazing resources to foster our professional development. The Career Center and Graduate Division's GradPro are the top ones to look into. Resources are useful for a wide breadth of options, including organizing your productivity as a graduate student, exploring academic and non-academic jobs, CV consultation, and networking with alumni, industry and etc.

Business Cards:
Once you've gotten over feeling weird about having a business card, you will realize in many contexts its a very efficient tool. This is a reasonable thing to ask your advisor to cover with lab fees, though many advisors will not set aside funds for this and cannot. You can get cards printed on campus through the printing services here for around $70, but it's far more expensive than getting cards printed off campus at an independent copy shop (around $20-40). Most print shops can make cards with a few hour turnaround time and already have UCB branding downloaded. If they don't, you can download fun things like the Berkeley seal, font templates, etc. here or just design your own card and break free of the system.
