Arts & Crafts are a great release from academic stress. Berkeley offers a wide variety of low-price, high-reward classes that ESPM students have been known to rave about!
Sign up at the beginning of the semester for Berkeley Art Studio Classes- Pottery is a crowd-favorite, but act fast; the class fills up in the first day of sign-ups! You can choose between semester-long weekly classes, weekend intensives, or single-day workshops and special events such as open house craft days.
Every semester, GSAO's Ryann and Zarah host a weekly "Coffee and Co-Being Space" drop-in event that provides a "third space" for folks to catch up, talk with their GSAO's, have a snack and a drink, and just "be". Occasionally, weekly drop-in crafts are offered, such as mini zine-making, shrinky dinks, and decorating banners for the ESPM social and special events. You can also reach out to Kelly the events specialist if you have an idea or a craft you'd like to lead!
