A) Context: The microscope is a vital instrument in the laboratory. This instrument has been very important for the cellular research, because many cells can not be seen by the human eyes. After the 19th century the study of the optical microscope was increased a lot.

The invention of the electronic transmission microscope (1931) led to a radical revolution in the study of the composition of the cell.

B) Problem: How is the microscope used?

C) Objective: To know the use of optical microscope by learning how to write a laboratory report.
