St. Barnabas 2026 Parish Raffle - Raffle tickets are $5 each or $25 for a book of six, with a bonus offer - turn in 4 sold books at once and receive the 5th book free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the parish office. Click here to purchase.
The main raffle drawing will take place on Sunday, June 14 (winner need not be present). Prizes include a $10,000 Grand Prize and a $2,500 First Prize.
Proceeds will benefit the church renovation capital campaign, Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future, and will build on the generous contributions already received from our parish community.

Religion: Hallow Bingo: This summer, we hope you and your family will continue to grow in faith! You will continue to have access to the Hallow App all summer long, and we invite your child to join the Hallow BINGO Challenge this summer.
Instructions: Choose a bingo square, log onto Hallow, search the title of the bingo square, and pray the prayer! Please note: some titles offer many options, so take your pick. When your child completes the ENTIRE bingo board, sign the bottom and bring it back in August for a special Hallow Dress Down Day! Don't forget: you have access to Hallow on 5 devices per student email address, so your entire family can pray!

Looking for a way to keep skills sharp this summer? Summer tutoring is a great opportunity for students to strengthen academic foundations, build confidence, and stay engaged in learning throughout the break. Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or a jump start for the upcoming school year, personalized tutoring can help students continue to grow in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
We are excited to share a few staffing updates as we continue preparing for next school year.
Lauren Farinella will continue teaching Library and will also take over STEM. Lauren brings a strong background in Library and Information Sciences, Mathematics, and hands-on learning experiences, including her work with Science Expos. We are excited for her to share her gifts with students in this expanded Library and STEM role.
Taylor Bellemo will be moving to 1st grade next year. When Taylor first joined St. Barnabas, she shared her love for working with younger learners, and we are excited that she will now have the opportunity to bring that passion to our 1st grade team. Taylor’s care for students, creativity, and positive energy will be a wonderful fit for this role.
With Lauren moving into this expanded Library and STEM role, we will be opening a part-time Computer Teacher position for next school year. This position will be posted online and on the Diocesan website.
Please join me in congratulating Lauren and Taylor on their new roles. We are grateful for the talented educators God continues to bring to our school community. We currently have one remaining opening for the 2026-2027 school year: a part-time Computer Teacher position. Ms. Haylee Houlahan will be joining our 4th grade team. Ms. Houlahan brings five years of elementary education experience and has worked with students across grades K–5. Her background as a special education teacher has given her valuable experience supporting a wide range of learners, helping students grow academically, socially, and confidently. Ms. Houlahan also has a special connection to St. Barnabas as a former student and current parishioner. She is excited to return to the school community where her own education began and where Mrs. Wareham helped inspire her love of learning and teaching. We are confident that Ms. Houlahan's experience, heart for students, and deep connection to our community will be a wonderful gift to our 4th grade students.
Ms. Julia Tomins will also be joining our 4th grade team. Ms. Tomins brings excellent experience as a junior high writing teacher and as a 4th- and 5th-grade ELA teacher. Throughout the interview process, Ms. Tomins' passion for teaching, love for students, and joyful approach to learning were clear. She is committed to creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, known, and appropriately challenged. Ms. Tomins is excited to bring joy into her lessons each day and to help students grow as confident readers, writers, and learners. We are confident that Ms. Tomins' energy, experience, and care for students will make her a strong addition to our St. Barnabas community.
Tuition Bills for 2026-2027 will be emailed in mid to late June
Annual SBS Educational Services Fee: $450 per student in grades PK-8 will be charged to FACTS over a five-month period. Accounts will be charged $90 monthly per student, running from July through November.
EdChoice Scholarship -- if you have not yet completed your new or renewal application, there's still time. Please reach out
Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) -- families receiving aid will see the credit applied to their tuition bill. The Diocese is no longer individually notifying parents of award amounts
Angel Scholarship Funds -- our school raised over $330,000 and every eligible family that applies receives funds. Haven't applied yet? Here's the link: Angel Scholarship Application 2026 2027 Please note: ASF is open to students in grades K-12. It is one application per child and you will need your 2025 adjusted gross income (AGI) number from your federal income tax return. Our original deadline for applying was April 15th. This is your last call. Please note: Any initial applications coming in now may receive a reduced amount as the majority of funds have already been allocated
Fund A Dream Scholarships -- congratulations, as we were blessed to have six students chosen to receive these $2,500 tuition awards for next school year, and those families have all been notified
PreK Tuition Parish Grant -- the Parish has a limited amount of funds set aside to assist PreK families with demonstrated financial need. Families who applied will be notified of any awards on their tuition bills. If you did not apply, but still wish to, please reach out immediately
Cafeteria Prepay Balances -- positive balances roll over to the next school year in late June. Unfortunately, negative balances cannot roll over and must be paid off by Friday, June 5th. Any negative balances not paid by that date will be converted to an incidental bill, and a $15 late payment fee will be added
FACTS Refunds -- if your family is leaving us and you have a credit currently sitting on your account, we will issue refunds in mid to late June. If the balance owed to you is less than $10, the monies will be donated to our Cafeteria Student Assistance Fund
Reduced Price Lunches -- families who are eligible to receive reduced price lunches will be notified prior to the beginning of school. As we do not participate in the National School Lunch Program, no form is needed. Determination is made based on the family's federal poverty level percentage

Summer has a way of flying by. What feels early in June can quickly become mid-July. And then the back-to-school rush begins. Our 1st Day School Supply kits include the name brands teachers prefer. The St. Barnabas Annual Golf Outing is a parishioner-run event celebrating its 29th year. Proceeds support the parish community, including the school, rectory, and local outreach programs, continuing our commitment to Catholic education.

Ready to clean out those closets for summer and say "bye" to those outgrown clothes? We will be accepting donation of uniform pieces with a St. Barnabas logo and any items in the St. Barnabas plaid. Please place them in the bin in the breezeway. If you wish to receive credit, please place a piece of paper with your name in the bag. Bins will be removed 6/12/26.

• Late registration is not guaranteed and depends on roster space and available coaches
• RugRat Soccer and Developmental Flag Football registration will remain open until July 3
• Please register your athlete for the grade they will be entering this fall
