The 8th Grade Roots & Wings class would like to thank all those who supported the H20 for Life WELLness candy sale last week. As a result of your generous support, they were able to raise over $2200! In turn, the students will not only be able to support their original project at South Sudan School, but will also be able to contribute to support an additional project. Your contributions are making a real difference in the lives of those who need access to clean water around the world. Thanks for your support St. Barnabas!
St. Barnabas 2026 Parish Raffle - Raffle tickets are $5 each or $25 for a book of six, with a bonus offer - turn in 4 sold books at once and receive the 5th book free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the parish office. Click here to purchase.
The main raffle drawing will take place on Sunday, June 14 (winner need not be present). Prizes include a $10,000 Grand Prize and a $2,500 First Prize. Don’t miss the Early Bird Drawing—purchase your tickets online by May 8 to be entered into the May 10 drawing for a $500 prize!
Proceeds will benefit the church renovation capital campaign, Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future, and will build on the generous contributions already received from our parish community.

The St. Barnabas Annual Golf Outing is a parishioner-run event celebrating its 29th year. Proceeds support the parish community, including the school, rectory, and local outreach programs, continuing our commitment to Catholic education.

Art Club: Art Club Grade 6-8 will be meeting on Monday, May 11. Art Club Grades 3-5 will be meeting on Wednesday, May 6.
Dress Down Days: If your student has a dress-down day on a scheduled PE day, please ensure they wear athletic shoes.
Athletic Shoes: For your child's safety, please have them wear athletic shoes to PE. Thank you!
JH Service Hours Opportunities
Mass Reminders:
If you plan to sit with your child at Friday Mass, we ask that they remain with you until the conclusion of both the St. Michael Prayer and the St. Thérèse Novena. After these prayers, students should be walked directly to their teacher. For First Friday Buddy Masses (the first Friday of every month), we ask that all students sit with their assigned buddy during the liturgy. Students should wear their "Joyful in Spirit, United in Faith" shirts.
Homework Requests for Absences
Requests for homework should be made when reporting an absence, or no later than 9:00 a.m. on the day your child is absent. Work will be ready for pickup after 2:00 p.m., if not being sent home with a sibling. Please make this request to both your child’s teacher and the school office at office@barnabasohio.org so we can ensure everything is prepared.

It's time for our annual Mother-Son bowling 🎳event on 5/1/26 at Northwood Bowling Lanes. Doors will open at 5:30, and we will bowl from 6p-8p.
PTU will cover the costs of shoe rental, bowling lanes, and provide light snacks. The bowling alley will have full service available.
