Feelings about senior year: being a senior this year isn’t what I expected. I feel that being a senior this year we are missing out on a lot but I am anxious for the future

Feelings about senior year: I feel like my time at ALHS has flown by. I know everyone always says that, but it really has. I’ve made so many great memories here and can’t believe it’s coming to an end soon. Everything this year is a “last” for me, and that’s a really strange feeling.

Favorite AL memory: Everything I’ve done in band. So many memories. So much time dedicated to it. I’ve loved every second of it. I truly could not imagine my time in high school without band.

Favorite class at AL: AP Physics with Mr. Gill

What are you looking forward to for this school year? Well, I don’t necessarily want to get my hopes up for anything this year, so I’m going to look forward to the one thing that’s a given: learning. I’m enjoying physics and calculus so far, and it’s all new and fun for me. Outside of that, I do hope the pandemic is over later this year so we can have prom.

Favorite thing about fall? Sweatshirt weather.
