Turismo en Ourense

Desde el Hotel Alda Estación Ourense encontramos a 15 minutos a pie las termas de A Chavasqueira.

Fifteen minutes walk fronm the Hotel we find the hot springs of “A Chavasqueira”.

Siguiendo el paseo del río las termas de O Muíño y por último las termas de Outariz.

Following the river walk we find the Hot Springs of “O Muíño” and finally the hot springs of “Outariz”.

El paseo es de unos 6 km, aproximadamente, contando sólo la ida.

A estas últimas mencionadas también se puede acceder en el Tren Turístico que tiene parada a ambos lados del Puente Romano.

The walk is about 6 km, one way only. You can also be accessed on the Tourist Train that stops on both sides of the Roman Bridge.

Hablando de puentes sin contar el Puente Romano. Es una parada obligatoria el Puente del Milenio, asombrarnos desde su cima con las vistas de la ciudad, las termas y las orillas del río.

 Speaking about bridges, without counting the Roman Bridge.The “Millennium Bridge” is a mandatory stop. You will be amazed from its top views of the City, the Hot Springs and the banks of the river.

Dirigiéndonos hacia el centro encontramos el casco histórico. Un muy buen lugar para perdernos en sus callejuelas y disfrutar de las vistas de la catedral, Plaza del Hierro, Iglesia de San Francisco, Teatro Principal, Plaza Mayor y un largo etcétera.

 If you drop into the City Center we find the Historic City. A very good place to get lost in its streets and enjoy the views of the Cathedral, Iron Plaza, San Francisco Church, Main Theater, Main Square and so on.

Sin olvidarnos de la famosa fuente natural de As Burgas, donde el agua emana a una temperatura de entre unos 60 a 70ºC.

 Without forgetting the famous natural source of “As Burgas”, where the water emanates at 60 to 70 degrees.

También podemos pararnos a disfrutar una buena cerveza en sus terrazas con las tan famosas tapas de Ourense, o visitar alguno de los multitudinarios restaurantes.

 We can also stop to enjoy a good beer on its terraces with the famous tapas of Ourense, or visit one of the many restaurants.

Ya más en las afueras podemos encontrar el jardín Botánico de Montealegre, el Castro de San Tomé y los restos de lo que fue el Circo de La Ciudad de Los Muchachos.
