Estamos a 8 minutos caminando del Coliseum, donde se hacen la mayoría de conciertos grandes de la ciudad y de EXPOCORUÑA. Únicamente habría que cruzar la pasarela blanca y seguir recto.
We are 8 minutes walk from the Coliseum, where most os the city’s great concerts are and EXPOCORUÑA. You just have to cross the wite walkway and go straight.
En esta zona hay mucho ambiente para comer y cenar, tanto de picoteo como platos típicos de aquí. Les recomendamos si quieren menú, el PUERTA CORUÑA. Si prefieren marisco COMAREA y para picar o tapear, el Hoyo 19 y el Rubia y Gallega. De noche tienen varios sitios para tomar copas, BOGART por ejemplo.
In this area there is a lot of places for lunch and dinner, both snacks and typical dishes here. We recommend if you want menú, PUERTA CORUÑA. If you prefer seafood, COMAREA is a great choice. For snacks or tapas, The Hole 19 and the Rubia & Gallega. At night the have several places to drink something, BOGART for example.
Para ir al centro de la ciudad, la mejor manera es coger el autobús 1 A hasta el Obelisco, por 1,20€ el viaje. Una vez en el Obelisco, hacia la izquierda estarían las 2 playas principales de Coruña, Riazor y Orzán.
To go to the city center, the best way is to take bus 1ª to the Obelisk, to the left would be the two main beaches of Coruña: Riazor and Orzán.
Si fuésemos hacia la derecha, estaría toda la zona de puerto. El encanto de esta zona de paseo tras pasar por los jardines de Méndez Núñez hasta la marina está en sus edificios antiguos, se le llaman la Ciudad de Cristal, balcones diseñados por el arquitecto Juan de Ciórraga. Antiguamente eran las casas de los pescadores.

Si desde el Obelisco siguen recto por la zona peatonal, pasarán por la Calle Real y Rego de Auga, conocidas por sus tiendas y por el ambiente que en ellas hay. Tras 10 minutos llegarán directos a la plaza de María Pita, plaza del Ayuntamiento de Coruña.
If you continue straight from the Obelisk trhourgh the pedesteian zone, they will pass through the Calle Real and Rego de Auga, know for their shops and for the atmosphere in them. After 10 minutes you will arrive directly at the María Pita square, Coruña Town Hall square.
Una vez en María Pita ya están limitando con el casco antiguo de la ciudad, con lugares como el Castillo de San Antón.

No se puede hablar de Coruña sin nombrar la Torre de Hércules, a media hora caminando del centro o cogiendo el bus línea 3. Si van en coche no tendrán problema para aparcar. Es el único faro de la antigüedad grecorromana que sigue funcionando. Una vez allí, no os podéis perder el paseo por los Menhires, La copa del Sol y la Caracola, bordeando siempre la costa por el parque y disfrutando de las increíbles vistas hacia el mar Atlántico.

Acquarium Finisterrae, a step saway form the Tower of Hercules, to learn all about local fish especies as well as the history of the fishing industry and Galicia’s relationship with the sea. As soon as you leave and continue walking along the coast, the is the DOMUS, formerly know as the House of Man, it’s an interactive museum focused o human beings.
Al otro lado de la ciudad y con sitio para aparcar el coche sin problema, está el Monte de San Pedro, parque con unas vistas realmente bonitas de la ciudad.
On the other side of the city and with a place to park the car without problema, is the Monte de San Pedro, a park with really beautiful views of th city.
Desde el hostal para ir al Hospital Universitario CHUAC, coger el bus Línea 22. Para ir al campus universitario de Elviña, coger el bus de la universidad. Para ir al aeropuerto, la línea azul especial para ir hacia allí. La parada de taxi está en la rotonda de matogrande.
From the hostel to go to the University Hospital CHUAC, take the bus line 22. To go to the University Campus of Elvña, take the bus from university and to go to the airport, the special blue line to go to there. The taxi stop is at the roundabout of Matogrande.
OLEIROS: SANTA CRISTINA
Santa Cristina es un importante destino de veraneos, su playa se llena de gente en los meses más calurosos del año.
Santa Cristina is an important summer destination, its beach is full of people in the hottest months of the year.
Está muy cerca de la ciudad de A Coruña. El principal bus que solicitan desde aquí es el que va hacia allí, que además es el mismo que va también hacia Santa Cruz y Oleiros.
It’s very close to the city of A Coruña. The main bus from here is the one that goes to there, which is also the same one that also goes to Santa Cruz and Oleiros.
Pasa cada 30 minutos y se coge en la avenida principal, al pasar la rotonda.

En caso de tener coche, la zona de O Burgo tiene mucha oferta de cervecerías con buenas raciones y económicas. Algunos ejemplos serían O Potro, Hoyo o A Casa do Cura.

Lo más destacable de Santa Cristina es su playa. De camino a Santa Cruz, tenemos la playa de Bastiagueiro, conocida playa por ser punto de referencia de surf.
