This program has been developed by Fit Like, using Ann Ozsivadjian's book 'Helping Your Autistic Child -A self help guide for parents'. The group is for parents and carers who are seeking to better understand and respond to their child, regardless of whether a autism diagnosis has been given. You might be a parent or carer at the early stages of wondering whether your child might be autistic or you might be parents / carers further down the diagnostic pathway.
We want to welcome you into a safe space where you can meet other parents and carers, learn more about autism through presentations, videos & practical tasks and begin to feel more confident about your approaches.
Our group currently runs on a termtime basis during the school day, with up to 10 participants. Please submit a form if you wish to be considered for our next group.
