Overview: This group is open to girls aged 11 and above. The girls collaboratively plan the focus for each session, engaging in food preparation and activities alongside meaningful discussions.
Aims of the Girls' Group:
Promote Understanding and Uphold Children's Human Rights: Foster awareness and respect for children's rights.
Facilitate and Encourage Voices to be Heard: Ensure that all attendees have the opportunity to express their thoughts and opinions.
Encourage Active Participation: Motivate girls to actively engage in all group activities.
Learn Through Peer Support: Promote learning and growth through mutual support and shared experiences.
Stay and Play offers sensory and creative fun for the whole family. This group provides a safe space for families to come together, allowing children to engage in social opportunities with their peers through a variety of activities. The group size is kept small to ensure children can explore through play and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
For parents, Stay and Play offers a chance to connect with other parents, share experiences, and build a supportive community. It provides a relaxing environment where parents can engage in activities with their children, fostering stronger family bonds and gaining new ideas for play and learning at home.

Six Sessions: Each session lasts 30-45 minutes.
Topics Covered: Effects and risks of substances, decision making, peer pressure, safety messages, the law, and anti-social behaviour.
Experienced Youth Workers: Sessions are led by trained youth workers who support young people using substances or affected by others' use.
Group-Based: Sessions are held in groups, but sharing personal experiences is optional.
One-to-One Support: Two facilitators are always present to provide individual support if needed.
