Formally known as The Parent Led CBT for Child Anxiety Programme, this program has been developed by CAMHS, NHS Grampian, using the book ‘Helping your child with fears and worries: a self-help guide for parents’ (Creswell & Willetts, 2019) to inform the session content.
The Fit Like Family Wellbeing Team have further developed this and recorded each session, rebranding it as Helping your Child with Worries and Anxiety for you to access at home in your own time.

This program is now available online. We have scheduled drop-in sessions for parents and carers who have watched the program content. These sessions provides an opportunity to connect with other parents / carers who have completed this program, discuss any questions or concerns with someone from the Fit Like Team and feel more empowered about how to implement the strategies.
