A Rights Respecting School places children’s rights at the heart of school life. Based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), it aims to create a safe, respectful and inclusive environment where every child is valued and their voice is heard. Through daily practice and classroom learning, pupils are encouraged to understand their rights, respect the rights of others, and play an active role in building a positive school community.
We achieved this award originally at the start of our journey.

We have now achieved this award and wear it proudly on our letters, newsletters, website and even on a poster outside our school to show off our hard work.
