Term 3 Overview

Numeracy

We will focus on Multiples Factors and Primes followed by Chance and Uncertainty along with our daily CLIC sessions and Big Maths Online.

Literacy

We will focus on Poetry along with our daily Cypic writing which focuses on Openers, Punctuation and Connectives.

HWB

This term we will be focusing on Food and health alongside our Physical health.

We will also look at Courage, looking on the Brightside and our emotions.

We will also continue to have RADS every Tuesday and PE with Mrs Forbes every Thursday.

Science

In Term 3 we will learn about Forces, Electricity and waves.

Cross Curricular

Our first topic this term is Scotland.

P6 will learn about Scottish Wars and Geography, Landscapes and Weather

We will then move on to an Author Study and Eco and Sustainability.

First Aid Training

P6 having fun learning some life skills on how to help someone in an emergency.

We will focus on Estimation and Rounding followed by Time along with our daily CLIC sessions and Big Maths Online.

Literacy

We will focus on Personal Writing along with our daily Cypic writing which focuses on Openers, Punctuation and Connectives.

HWB

We will focus on Relationships and Social Wellbeing and Relationships, Sexual Health & Parenthood

We will also continue to have RADS every Tuesday

We will focus on Biodiversity and Interdependence followed by Energy Sources and Sustainability

Cross Curricular

Our first topic this term is Caring Citizens which gives us an opportunity to get to know each other, our learning styles, needs, abilities, work on friendship making and building and creating structures, routines and our UNCRC Class Charters.

We will then move onto 'Historical'

P6 have chosen to learn about WW2

Numeracy

We will focus on 2D and 3D shape followed by Patterns and Relationships and Maths Week Scotland will be from 22nd - 28th September along with our daily CLIC sessions and Big Maths Online.

Literacy

We will focus on Biography and Autobiographies along with our daily Cypic writing which focuses on Openers, Punctuation and Connectives.

HWB

We will focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing and our emotions
