Read this article on Moneyball, the title of the 2003 book and 2016 movie. Which were both based on the analytical approach of the 2002 Oakland A's.
It is the winter off-season for professional baseball, the "Hot Stove" time. You are a player scout and part of the new player recruitment group of a low budget professional baseball team. How would you use standard deviation and coefficient of variation, along with the Moneyball strategy, to put together the best team with the lowest budget possible.

We will discuss the answer to the bell question and then discuss the Pong Toss - 30" Field task and results
We will then return to Learner Profile presentations
