Week 9
This week you will be using your listening skills to write about Easter. Mrs Jacobsen will dictate the text, then you will remember it, take notes, rewrite and make sure it becomes an effective paragraph by using a variety of sentence types and lengths.
Week 8
You are going to write an explanation about Omaru Creek.
Explain to your audience what it is like, what features it has to keep it healthy and how they can help keep it healthy.
Week 7
You are going to explain to your audience what you were doing from Wednesday - Friday last week. Make sure to hook in your reader and keep them entertained throughout the text.
Week 4/5
This week we will be remembering our best birthdays ever.
You will write a recount story following the structure of a recount story.
Week 3
Last weeks Korero was Use your WITS.
This week you will use what you know about using your WITS to explain to others.
Week 2
This week you will rewrite your 'All about Me' for
your blog. Have a think about what your audience would want to know about you and what you will be sharing with them this year. Now get writing!
