This term we have been learning lots about video games. Videos games are all made by things called pixels. Pixels are the tiny little squares of colour that are put together to make an image. To make our classroom look awesome we are going to make Minecraft Selfies using pixel art.

Term 2s Tinkering, Tools & Toys display is an eyesore not to mention our classroom walls look bare because there is so much wall space. Help make your classroom become vibrant by designing and creating an A3 piece of art to display.

Tinkering, Tools & Toys Process

We will be creating pixel art pieces to display on our walls. Have a look at some pixel art designs that other people have made. Then decide on a figure and get creating using makepixelart.com Once you have made your pixel art, download it and post it to your blog.

We will be creating a huge school logo by completing one part of it each. Have a look at the slide and become inspired by the colours and how they blend together. Think about the many cultures we have within the school and use designs and patterns from these cultures in your part of the logo.

Let's get to know each other. Take a look around the walls of the room. What do you notice?

We want to make our new classroom creative and bright. Over the next couple of days we will be doing some artwork using our initials and names.
