AR: ADD: The technical advances making it possible to not just perform this experiment but also to interpret the results

IS THIS FOR THE PAPER OR FOR THE COVER LETTER? : " Why I believe this experiment should be performed on the brains of physicists, rather than on those of philosophers (or metaphysicians), or psychologists. (And why the result of the experiment may have bearing also on physics rather than only on psychology or philosophy etc.):

…..

My opinion, my journey, my feelings

  • My Prior articles on this and related topics

  • Genesis of this survey in the author's original 1987 survey

  • Throughout my career my interest in fundamentals led me to think about and write articles on specific topics:

  • How my physics research reflected my deeper interests

Perhaps large parts of this will form the basis of a separate article, and will be omitted from this 'cover letter'

In order to ensure that only academic survey respondents are included in the statistics, the survey form will require including an email address, which will not be visible to other respondents. Via this email address respondents will be invited to join a google group for discussion, critique etc.

The survey form and a google group about it for respondents - Survey discussion - will be embedded on a site named: "On Line Idealists Materialists Community" = OLIMcommunity.com

(the url of the website is sites.google.com/olimcommunity.com/idealistmaterialistcommunity/)

[soon: separate embedded google groups for discussion of the paper, survey and experiment]

The article will be posted to philsciarchive@groups.pitt.edu (and/or to philpapers?) while it is pending after submission to 'nature'.
