Spencer McGeehan was selected as the top soloist this past weekend at the Heritage Music Festival in Williamsburg, Virginia. Spencer has entertained our school community with his amazing musical talent for many years. He will be sorely missed in our music department next year. Congratulations Spencer!

Exciting Guidance Career Day NEWS!! Guidance is planning a Career Day for the 2016-2017 School Year for grades 7-12!! Guidance is currently collecting information for potential career day speakers. Career Day is scheduled for March 3, 2017 and we are looking for a wide variety of speakers to cover an array of job/career fields. PARENTS——>If you are interested in volunteering as a speaker or know someone who would be an excellent candidate, please click on the link to fill out the information form. The Jenkintown Scholarship Application for the Class of 2016 is NOW available. The application, and supporting documents, are due to Ms. Kafkalas no later than 2:40pm on Friday, May 6, 2016. To download an application, click HERE! (Students were given a hard copy of the application in homeroom.)

(Deadline to apply is May 20) American Legion Keystone Boys State is looking for current Junior males to attend PA Boys State June 19-June 25: Boys State was founded in 1935 to teach young men about the rights, privileges and responsibilities of American citizens. The program focuses on hands-on participation in simulated city, county, and state governments. Operated by students elected to various offers, activities include legislative sessions, court proceedings, intramural sports, law-enforecement presentations, etc.
If you have a junior son who is interested in the law enforcement, law, military and/or military academies this is a nationally recognized program!!!! Don’t miss out.
