Does the college have a comprehensive program?
Is the college culture sensitive to the gifts and needs of LD students?
Are LD students fully integrated into college?
What is your LD Program and Services reputation and/or length of existence?
Is there a fee? Academic credit recovery?
What is used to evaluate students for admissions? Are SAT/ACT scores used? Do you need a copy of the Psycho-educational Report? Do you do personal interviews? Is there a special application?
Are LD specialists available? What is their professional level of training? What is your staff/student ratio?
What is the nature of the support? Do you do "Strategy Instruction" ? (For reading comprehension, time management, etc.) Do you have mentoring? Do you have Advocacy Strengthening?
Is there a preparatory Summer Program?
Is there academic advising that integrates the LD issues?
Are facilities inviting & appropriate?
