Week 37 2014

We had our Project meeting on Thursday afternoon at Menlo Park with Swisscom. Our Project manager informed us about LDAP and Racktable-Software. We need these two tools in the actual project. On Thursday we were introduced to our project manager and he gave us an idea what we should do. The project was born. Swisscom had to set up a VPN access and give us the logins to the needed websites. We had to prepare a sheet with questions and think about how we would like to set up the website.

In the project we have to create a website that takes different tools together and make them accessible through one surface. The challenge is to integrate LDAP login, access the databases from the other tools and make it all interactive and working. That includes admin-rights and manageable surface.
