Week 05

This week we implemented some of the new features we discussed with our client last week. For example it is now possible to select “special features” that are shown in the contract. “Special features” can be different for each product and/or customer.

We also finished the MSDN documentation for all classes. Furthermore we decided to improve the look and feel of our macro as shown on the graphic below. When you open the macro, a graphical user interface appears in which you can select the Excel file with the data (like prices, products, speed of the internet connection, etc.) you need to create the Word template. After selecting the Excel file, you can choose a product, the speed of the internet connection to the product, the duration of the contract and if you need to, charge the Installation/Setup Fee. Then you select the footnotes you want to add to the contract and after that the special features.

We also finished our template for DocuSign. After you create the contract with the macro, you can upload it to DocuSign. Using the template, all fields (like signature field and date of signature) will be added to the correct place to the contract automatically.
