2nd week 09/15/14 - 09/19/14

Our weekly meeting on Monday morning with Dacuda went good and cleared few ambiguities. We continued with the research of apps in the App Store and Play Store. Furthermore, we made our first interviews with potential customers of the 3D photography app. The answers of the interviewees helped us to refine our survey. One interview partner made us even aware of an app that already does kind of mobile 3D photography. --> Seene - Share life in 3D available in the AppStore.

To make a more accurate result of our survey, we defined two different categories of mobile food photographer.

• The regular user and consumer of a food photography app

• The professional food blogger

Moreover, we started with step three and searched for app developers that are located in the Californian area, specifically the Silicon Valley. We searched for contact details (not as easy as it may sound) and made phone calls or emails to get in contact with the ones that are interesting for us.

Thanks to the Santa Clara University, we were able to go to a Plug & Play event. We made contact with two companies that have somehow a connection to Food Photography and 3D. One of them was really interested in our work and a meeting will be scheduled in the following weeks.
