Holy Angels School considers volunteers a very special resource. Sign-up sheets for ongoing activities such as yard supervision and school events are posted during the year on SchoolSpeak.
The Archdiocese of San Francisco requires all volunteers who work at school, in any capacity, may need to complete a Volunteer form requesting background information. These are kept on file with the Archdiocese. Parents having regular contact with children, i.e. coaches, must have fingerprint clearance.
Parents not wishing to complete the form may not participate in any school-sponsored activity involving children (yard supervision, class parties, field trips).
The personal use of cell phones while volunteering is not allowed as it causes distraction to assigned duties.
Other children/siblings may not accompany volunteers as their presence is a distraction from the volunteer’s assigned duties.
