Holy Angels offers a variety of sports to girls and boys in grades three to eight through Daly City Park and Recreation and CYO. The programs are aimed at promoting the physical and emotional growth of students, which stress fundamentals and sportsmanship, individual effort and teamwork, participation and competition. Equipment is provided by the school.
Students must maintain a “C” in each of the core subjects and have no “NP” in each of the non-core subjects in order to participate; otherwise, they will be placed on sports probation. Students on sports probation are allowed to practice with the team but not play during league games.
Sign-ups are taken before the sport season begins. Fees are set by the league and must be paid before the season begins or child will not be able to participate. If for any reason, students are placed on “sports probation,” no athletic fees will be refunded.
Athletic Awards Night are held two times during the school year (December for the fall sports and May for the spring sports) to recognize all student athletes and coaches for their commitment and effort during their respective sports.
