Media and Student Work Release Agreement

Parents will be asked to sign the Media and Student Work Release Agreement giving consent for faculty and staff to use photos, videos, audio recordings as well as their child’s work in school publications, both in print and online, including social media. Photos, videos, audio recordings and student work is published to promote the school, Catholic education and students.

Definitions:

Media: photos, videos, or audio recordings

Publish: distribution of media online, in print, or elsewhere such that it is publicly accessible

Overview of the Media and Student Work Policies

• Media depicting anyone in the school community will not be published without the consent of the individual and/or their legal guardian
• Student work will only be published with the consent of the student’s legal guardian
• Student work and media will only be published with the intent to celebrate the student, promote the school, or for educational purpose
• Student name will be included in published media and student work only with the consent of the student’s legal guardian
