Archdiocese of San Francisco and Holy Angels School Technology Responsible Use Policy
Media and Student Work Agreement
While using technology, students and parents are expected to abide by the guidelines stated in the school policies anywhere or anytime their actions can affect the school or other students.
The school’s jurisdiction with respect to conduct includes:
When a student is on school grounds
At officially sanctioned school-sponsored events
Outside of the school when a student’s actions negatively impact another student, staff member or school
Parents are also expected to abide by the guidelines stated in this policy, to the extent that their technology use affects other members of the school community.
While the school is not responsible for policing online activity, the school should be notified of online conflict between students, parents or staff that affect the well-being of members of the school community. Students and parents who fail to comply with the guidelines stated in this policy and use technology in ways that are contrary to our mission will have access privileges revoked, face disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion.
