Playground Supervision

School personnel supervise the playground during the morning, noon and afternoon recesses. Volunteers are used to help supervise students before school and during the noon recess.  Volunteers are to be given the same respect and cooperation the students give school personnel. The personal use of cell phones while volunteering is not allowed as it causes distraction to assigned duties.

Expectations and Rules

• Students are expected to use the restrooms during this time.

• Students are to be in areas, around the playground, where adults on yard duty can see them at all times.

• Students from different grade levels are allowed to play with one another, as long as they are playing a non-contact game/activity such as kickball, volleyball, etc.

• The schedule of use of the volleyball net is as follows:

10:15 Recess:

Mondays 3rd grade

Tuesdays 4th grade

Wednesdays 5th grade

Thursdays 6th grade

Fridays 7th grade

12:10 Recess:

8th grade everyday
