The school bell rings at 8:15 am each morning. Students are tardy (late) if they are not in the classroom by 8:20 am. Students arriving after 8:20 am must enter through the Reiner Street door.
Excessive tardies impact a student’s academic performance. Tardies are also reflected on the report card. Excessive tardies may require a formal conference with the teacher, vice principal, and/or principal to remedy the situation and disciplinary consequences may be imposed at the decision of the school administration. Excessive tardies do affect class participation and the simple daily achievement necessary for academic progress. Students are expected to be on time for school.
