Part 1: Matching

This section will ask you to match each of the 4 wars and 2 rebellions in period D with a brief description.

Part 2: Multiple Choice

This section will cover the dynasties of China. You do not have to memorize everything on all the dynasties! Here is what you should know:

Period A: Distinguish the Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties. In many ways their style of rule and circumstances are opposed to one another. You should also review the social and economic notes we discussed and the Powerpoint on these ideas.

Period B: Yuan vs. Ming. Be able to contrast them. Like the Zhou and Qin, they are very different, both in terms of who ruled, how they ruled, and their values.

Period C and D: Characteristics of the Qing dynasty

Part 3: True/False on Chinese Religions (especially Confucianism)

You will read 5 statements and determine if they are true or false. If the statement is false, you should write a one-sentence explanation of why.

Part 4: Chronology

No surprises here. Chronology will cover periods A-D.
