For tomorrow, you should read the chapter in Shadow of the Sun assigned in class. Annotate as you read. When you finish, make a PESC chart and write down all the political, economic, sociological, and cultural ideas you can remember. Then go back and identify and mark clearly what you think are two essential quotations or images from your chapter, which you think are the essential passages to discuss tomorrow-- these should be images or descriptions that make you think about how life in this part of Africa is different from your own life in the United States.
