After that, you should watch two brief videos-- TAKE NOTES AS YOU WATCH THE VIDEOS. The first (BBC on Tiananmen Square) explains the events of the spring of 1989 in China, and what they have meant for China since. The second video (The Last 40 Years in China) is an overview of Chinese economic growth since the 1980s.
