AR Reading time!!!

      • Please read for 30 minutes today. Take AR quizzes HERE when you finish a book, the same way we do in the classroom :)

word of the day!

Let's be like Donavan and "collect" a new word!

      • Our word of the day is...butterfingers
      • It is also a compound word
      • It means...when you drop things as if your fingers are buttery
      • Don't forget to draw your picture and write your sentence in your vocabulary journals. Use a capital letters and punctuation!
      • Here's my sentence: I dropped my donut on the floor because I had butterfingers!

DISCUSS!

  • Butterfingers is a compound word made up of "butter" and "fingers." How can those two words help you remember what the word means?
  • Have you ever had butterfingers?
