If the weather isn't great and you are stuck inside and looking for some ways to keep busy, here are some ideas...

ideas that don't require a computer or any internet!!

I definitely need a little break from technology after all of this Virtual Learning. Here are some fun things to do that don't require any devices.

  • Read a book
  • Draw a picture
  • Write letters to your friends
  • Make a collage out of old magazines (if an adult says it is okay!)
  • Clean your room (or help clean your house!)
  • Play a board game! I love Checkers and Scrabble.
  • Create your own board game!
  • Do a craft
  • Look at family photos
  • Make a family tree
  • Make a storyboard for yourself or other members of your family
  • Make your own word search
  • Write lists (a list of all the songs you can think of, a list of all the colors you can think of...anything!)
  • Make up your own dance or exercise
  • Put on a talent show!
  • Build with legos, blocks, anything you have!
  • Make a healthy recipe with your family :)
  • Do a science experiment
  • Make thank you sign for our healthcare workers and everyone else who is out there working to hang outside your house
  • Call or video chat with a family member or friend

some ideas that require technology and internet but are not video games! :)
