Writing (if you need more time, that is completely fine...just do your best)

        • Okay authors, we are going to finish writing our realistic fiction stories today!
        • Paragraph 1 (Beginning): You have already written the beginning of your realistic fiction story. You started the story in an exciting way, maybe with dialogue or onomatopoeia. You introduced your characters and setting.
        • Paragraph 2 (Middle): You wrote this yesterday. You built up to the problem. You didn't just tell the problem right away! Then, you wrote about the problem. (This might have taken you more than 1 paragraph - that is fine!)
        • TODAY, You will write your last paragraph - the CLOSING: It will include the solution and a hope, dream, wish or feeing for the main character. For example, "Lily was so proud of herself!" or "Lily was so grateful for her friend's help."
        • Watch my video, then watch Episode 5: Writing A Closing. I put Episode 4 up again too, in case you aren't ready for the closing just yet and you need more time for the middle of your story.
        • Next, write your closing! This will be your last paragraph (end). This is where you write about the solution to the problem.
        • Tomorrow, we will revise and edit our stories. You don't have to send me a picture of anything until you're done editing, unless you want to!
