Google Chrome Extensions

The Google Chrome browser is powerful tool for browsing the web. At it's core, it works just like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox to browse the web. However, you can customize the Chrome browser with numerous extensions from the Chrome Store to make things easier on yourself, and teach your students how to use Chrome extensions to enrich their learning.

The key to using Google Chrome extensions however, is students have to be logged into the Chrome browser. This is done automatically on Chromebooks, but if your students are at home or at school on a desktop computer, they need to log-in to the Chrome browser to use their extensions. To log-in to the Chrome browser, use the picture as direction below:
